    lifting at home

    i lift at home and i dont have access to alot of equitment. i have a bench and an 350lb olympic barbell set. ive have no problem with upper body, i do bench, deadift, power clean, clean pull, t bar row, row, shurgs ect. but i cant think of much lower body exercises i can do. im juss workin out here till i get a car so i can go to the gym. any advice would be great.

    my advice is this, you need to buy a squat cage. it is a necessity. hell you dont even need a bench if you have a cage and a moveable bench(this is wht i use at my house, i jst press in the cage) a rackwil allow you to do, shoulder presses, push presses , squats, good mornings,partial deads, rack lockouts, partial squats,high bar squats etc etcetc. without a cage, you dont have really any other option,

    Definently agree with the power rack. if you are extremely hard up for money either get some squat stands or build your own rack with wood and/or steel (yes you can make a very sturdy and strong rack with wood, Ive used one). Variants of the squat is all you need for the legs actually. Throw in some lunges and calf work for a bonus. Leg curls, leg extensions, and leg presses are pretty worthless actually.

    you are so right about leg presses ,curls and extensions. waste of time
