Look at this little kid lift!!!

Not sure what's going on in this video, it says the kid is 8 years old now but it looks like two different people in the video and I'm not sure if I like an 8 year clean and jerking 135lbs!!! So much is wrong with this video I don't know where to start.....

kids form is very very good for olympic lifiting! also the plates may not be 45lbs plates, i have see bumper plates, the same size as 45lb plate that only weigh 5lbs. they make them the same height as a 45lb plates so that when you pull from the floor, it is the same as if you were using a 45lbplate,(same height from the floor so the travel distance and starting point of the bar is in the same spot)

what major cities is the school close to? when i have kids, i want to put them in a school that has a olympic lifting program so i would like to know where i can find a school like this

  12. #12
im guessing u live in florida to sust?....the good schools that i knew of for a good olympic lifting was the high schools more north of like martin county and more north were the good ones. i didn't know the specific cities really but in high school lifting we only had the clean and jerk and the bench.

Spruce Creek was unstoppable for about 10 years in weightlifting. They had more than a few guys clean and jerking 350 to 400 lbs and alot of 400 plus benchers. I went to school there.
