    nicotine edge?

all athletes are pursuing ways to get to the top of their game. im no different. how many powerlifters out there think tobacco chew will help? im trying it myself right now to see. im not gonna go crazy and chew all day and get cancer and blow a bunch of money. im just talking about responsible use. baseball and banjo players to name a few have been taking advantage of the CNS stimulation of nicotine for years.

anyone out their tried it and hit a new PR?

What affect would it have on you CNS? Do you mean chewing while your lifting? I tried it once and it sucked, when i was benching the shit was dripping down my throat. I do it when i do cardio, but thats just cause i hate doing cardio and it puts a little pleasure into it ha. Interesting topic, im curios what the potential benifets are.

this is an old thread that i thought died, and so i got some of my own feedback now. been chewing for a year. seems to do me the most good AFTER workout. the sugar and additives (and dehydration issues) seemed to hinder performance if taken PRE workout.

Why not keep your mouth clean and just use "Nicorette" nicotine gum?
