Belts
Hey guys,
I am looking to get a powerlifting belt but I want to make sure I get the right size.
If I order according to the site where I am going to get it. I fit into an XL which seems big to me. My waist line is only 31-33 on buying pants.
I know the belt doesnt go on my hips and I have to measure around my belly.
Does the XL seem right? 29-38 inches
Fuc.. This would be the first time I have ever worn a belt, but I need to take precautions since my hernia surgery.abstrack@protonmail.com

i have one of the lever belts from inzer, i have a large, i have used this belt from when i weighed 180lb to when i have been a real fat 240lbs, waist varying over the years from 30 inch to a 38inches. large is a safe bet. XL would be way to big

APT is the site I was going to order from.

So you think a large would be fine?abstrack@protonmail.com

apt has god products, the large should work the best IMO, that is if they are sized the same way inzers belts are sized, i am 99% sure they are sized the same

let me offer some advice, if you are going to get a belt like this, dont get a double prong, get a single prong, it is SO much easier to buckle when you eed it tight, or even better, spend a few extra bucks on a lever belt

the single prong and the lever cost the same, this is the belt to get, i know it cost $20 more then the apt, but his blet is so much better IMO it is worth the exta $20, belt is guarantedd for life, i busted my buckle twice squating and the replaced it no questions asked. this is the way to go IMO

elite sells the single prong belts http://www.flexcart.com/members/elit...d=205&pid=1378
but if you decide to go with a lever belt, inzer sells it, not elite. either are fine, i actualy have one of each, a single prong 13 mm for squats and a lever 10m for deadlifts and presses.

Def a large as Doc. said. I'm using a xxl lever belt that I bought when I weighed more and it's close to being too big on me now and I have a much larger waist and stomach than you.
