    New guy

    Hi guys,

    Good to be here. I'm a regular at Elitefitness and got invited here. Some brief stats:

    6 feet 6, 350lb @ 14 % (natural and drug free for 10 years)
    Squat: 710, deadlift 700 and bench 450lb.
    Also compete in strongman shows.

    sweet...strongman comps. Do you compete in Amatuer SA strongman. What events have you done. I am getting ready for some of the 2003 Texas strongman comps.

    post some of the pics you posted on elite so people can see how big you really are. When you showed us a pic of you with your team, you dwarfed all of them.

    Sir Hugenstein, I'm one of the few people that I know of who competes regularly in Strongman and Powerlifting. We had our strongman nationals two weeks ago, which was the first time that I competed at national level in strongman. I guess I should be happy with my results as I placed 8th overall (out of the 15 guys that qualified to compete) but when I analyzed everything afterwards I realised that I could easily have placed 4th, if only I was more experienced. Very good learing experience for next year, though.

    As far as my size is concerned, I'm just naturally big, and not particularly well built or muscular or anything. I guess that's the reason why I can get away with being natural and still be competitive against guys that juice.

    Thanks a lot for the feedback, really nice. BTW I don't post as often as I would like to but I do read EVERYTHING both here and at Elite and it almost feels like I know most of you guys like old friends.
