Your going to be a hell of a deadlifter. You seem to have the longer arms that good deadlifters have. Your squat looked good to me as well, but Im not much on squatting anymore. It looks to me like you need to bring your triceps up a little bro for the bench. Seems like your having trouble somewhere around midway to the end of your bench. Im not flaming bro just telling you what I observed. You are right though, you put up some good numbers at your size and your weight. Keep hitting it hard little man. I wish I had some video of my bench to let these people pick apart lol.
yup i blow at benching. in the contest i took to wide of a grip... im getting better though. I just benched 195 touch n go @ 135-140 raw, so im almost as 200. im working on gradually bringing my grip out, so i dunno how thats gonna go.
thanks for the comment.
Thats exactly how I got my grip so wide, Just do it gradually. You dont blow at benching, you just arent as strong as you want to be at it YET.
Dont worry, it will come.
Congrats on your lift. Your bench seemed to stick a very common stick point, where the lift transitions into mainly triceps. Just keep working on your tri's, and speed out the hole. And your 360 DL should have counted, I couldn't see any infraction.
Good Luck

musc2002pa , if you look at my 360 deadlift, watch my right leg and you'll see my kinda hitch it a tiny bit towards the top. Hopefully next time i shirt up, i'll be benching around 215
Bro,
they screwed you on that deadlift. It was a good lift anywhere, even where you compete. Not a thing wrong.
Don't sweat the bench too much. Hit the tris like a madman and do the things you know to do, and it will come up. You will never be a bench specialist with your build, but good powerlifters are deadlifters, not benchers. Remember that.
As much as I love benching, and I do, I would trade for being a top 100 deadlifter instead. That would get me a whole lot closer to Elite than a big bench. Just remember that.

deadlifts are the shitmy hamstrings are holding me back in the deadlift tho, its ruining my start.
Bench- what style do you deadlift, sumo or conv.?
You need to learn to deadlift and squat without round backing. You WILL pay the price eventually if you continue the practice.
i know, my squat has gotten better, an my back wasnt very rounded in the squats.
In the deadlifts, yeah i was rounded, but try DLing in a suit you've deadlifted once before in, and being exhausted....
Dude you got a star on al of us. You are gonna pull huge one day!
nice work deciever...........I thought the 365 DL should have counted too! By the way, you were probably 1/8 of inch from getting past your sticking point on that 185 attempt and locking. Keep up the good work.

thanks.. if i ever miss 185 on bench again, it will be a very sad day for me.
Great liftin', Deceiver. I know how it feels to be failed on a lift that looks like that. Only thing I can say is: you KNOW you can do it now so next time you'll already have this lift in the bag.
Your technique looks good as it is so please take my advice in the proper context: when you are in your starting position, hands grabbing the bar, instead of just tightening up and starting to pull, what you should try and do is to keep your ass high and then breath hard into your stomach, pushing the belt out. As soon as you've tightened your midsection in this way, lower your ass while simultaneously getting your back straight and your head high and while this is happening, "pre-pull" about 10% of the bar weight so that when your ass gets nice and low, you are already "deadlifting" a couple of dozen pounds, even though the bar has not started to move yet. As soon as you get into this position drive hard from your legs and shoot the bar up. You'll be amazed at the terrific speed you get off the floor this way.
I train both, but pull 50 or so lbs more sumo than conventional. Low back is not strong enough, and sumo gives that a break, and also, my belly is pretty big and that makes conventional hard to get down to the bar.Originally posted by deciever
