You can buy bands from www.elitefts.com or from www.jumpstretch.com

There are 4 different bands (light, regular, heavy, and mini).

    Hope this helps.

    Diesel,

There are many uses for the bands strength, speed, flexability training, restoration work so having access to all the bands wouldn't be a bad idea. Plus jump stretch sells a couple of packages which may make it easier on your wallet.
As you get more advanced with your training you may need multiple bands. But you do not need any of them it just depends on how you want to train.

    Diesel:
You do not need all six pairs of bands to start with. If money is an issue, I would start with a pair of Mini Bands (depending on what you are benching you may want to start with the Monster Mini) and the appropriate band for your squat. Dave suggest the following bands for the following sq level: Light Band Up to 450lbs, Average Band 450lbs-700lbs, Strong Band 650lbs-900lbs, Monster For those who squat 1000 or more. The tension each band adds, depending on how it is attached: Mini 1/2" wide 5 to 25 lbs, Light 1 1/8" wide 30 to 50 lbs, Average 1 3/4" wide 65 to 85 lbs, Strong 2 1/2" wide 80 to 100 lbs. A couple of useful Jumpstretch links: http://www.jumpstretch.com/Powerlifters.htm and http://www.jumpstretch.com/PressureChart.htm
