    Restoration Workouts

I'd just like to know if any of you guys do any restoration work after your ME days?
Like contrast showers, deep muscle massage, feeder workouts, band workouts or anything of the sort.

    Stay Strong,

I do the same as musc2002 except for shoulders as well. If i take a shower after i train i almost always use a contrast shower for 4or 5 minutes wspecially if my low back o shoulders feel beat up. the day after i usually try to hop in a hot tub or something to hlp loosen up. If i had the $$ i would get a sports massage once or twice a week but who has the cash for that. Just short 20-30 minute things that keep me moving and get the blood flwing. I also now that i have ashoulder horn use this the night bfore i have a rest day which is two or three days a week.

Well I'm starting these up again. I was doing timed dumbbell reps, but I have been experimenting with these lately. Will tell you how things go later.

Lately I've been doing band pushdowns, band flyes for bench.
Lower body is band GM's, with a 10 second pause and hold contraction at the top. Very taxing. But the next day your back won't be sore anymore.

Always do abs on extra workouts! Never skip abs. Most people have week abs. So keep these up!

    Hope this helps, later.

HEY GRIMM about the massage thing have your g/f give you a massage that's what mine does for me after workouts where I feel beat up. For the first week or so you'll have to "TRAIN THEM", like i did,LOL after that they get used to it.

I wish I had bands to do restoration work. I gotta save up some $$ next paycheck and get some. As of now that's my only restoration are her massages other than I eat simple carbs and ALOT of protein after working out.

I usually do feeder workouts or band work.

I'm going to order a sled soon as well and incorperate it into my training as well.

I like the g/f massage idea.
