    New PR on decline

    I was doing decline tonight for assistance after speed bench for my triceps..

    usually my progression will look like this..

    135x 6, 145 x6, 155 x6, 165x6 ... today i was using my new wider grip and proceeded to go.
    135 x 6, 155 x6, 175 x6, 185 x 6. ....

    im thoroughly amazed and "befuddled" at my accomplishment. Im thinking now that when i get in a a good shirt, i should hit 205 easily, because my triceps got strong all of a sudden

    hey deciever if that wider grip has worked for you i'm gonna have to try it. You didn't see results right away right( like a month or somethin)???

    saw results 1st week i did it, 2nd week and 3rd week.. heres how it went

    week 1- 175 x 4 on flat, PR
    week 2 195 x 1 tied PR with old grip
    week 3- 185 x 6 on decline blew away PR

    of course i didnt do it myself, i learned from the best, learned how to use leg drive and stuff.

    hey that decline is pretty good. Yea i'm sure u got that 205 in ya now. I'll see how I do Mon on ME bench day when I go wider.

    advice on going wider.. do it gradual.. i know you bench pretty narrow. so try this..

    week 1- where your pinky is now, move your ring finger to that
    week 2- with your new grip where your pinky is, move your ring finger to that.

    repeat until your benching so your miiddle finger or so is on the power rack.
