    Talking What's this powerlifting thing I keep reading about?

    Thanks to PLJay for pointing me to the board. It's taken me a while to finally check this board but I'm happy with the quality of the lifters posting. I'm familiar with a few of the current members and I look forward to contributing.

    We need to talk about shirts. You gonna order a new one? Let me know. Just curious, I'm gonna stick it out with this one. Hopefully with some recovery and reps I can get 425 to touch. My elbow still feels like shit from Sat, and I even went in yesterday and did some recovery stuff.

    BigOkie,

    Ordered my new shirt today. Size 54 with a black front and a royal blue back. I'm having them extend the bottom length by 6". I had them rush the custom shirt and I will pay overnight delivery. It should arrive on Wednesday next week (8-day turn) which is not bad considering Monday is a holiday. I just hope the 54 isn't too big. At least it will be a keeper because I can gain weight if need be. I returned my purple shirt for a refund which will off-set the cost of the new custom shirt. I'll ony get to use the shirt once or twice before the meet so we will see what happens. Later!
