Lets throw this scenario out there.

Lets say, someone starting to PL, or get back in, but is probably 12 months away from even thinking about competing. What would there routine look like? Ive been reading a TON of stickys among other things, and Doc has been working with me behind the scenes, but most of you guys are seasoned and your routines look like they are what your doing before a meet. Right?

What help or advise can you give for your off meet workouts?

    Thanks

submaximal 3 wk waves comes too mind 1st. for maintaining or form work for the off season.

But my opinion on a 12 mnth prep for newbies in PLing,
    mnths 1-3 conditioning and form
mnths 4-6 finding a raw max and building it up (full ROM's)
mnths 7-9 Incorperating DE days and partial ROM's,and finding what your 90% weight is on the lifts
mnths 10-12 bring all you have built up on together while keeping a fvcking open mind and go from there.Oh and clear the mantel off for the trophys,LOL

westside or a westside derivative. even if you dont like the methods, great way to get back in the swing of things and a great way to train all year around
