Video - 9 plates with one arm!
A recent video of my good friend training. I have been helping Mike with his diet and training during the last few months. Bear in mind this guy lost his front delt and most of his bicep on his left side so he continues to persue heavy lifts with his right arm only. This is 9 plates (180k). Just to give an idea of how heavy this is a couple of bodybuilders training at the time could not move this weight at all with BOTH there arms. Mikes pervious lifts before injury include a raw 230k bench at only 14.5 stone. He now weighs 17 stone at a faily low BF following a good diet. This guys diet before consisted of packets of ham and the odd mars bar!!

If you dont mind me asking. how did he lose his front delt and bi-cep? Does he still have range of motion with it?

He lost it over a year ago in a motorbike accident. He has virtually no movement in his left arm at all and the arm has wasted leaving it less than half the size of his right. His right arm has a 21 inch Bi, the guy has never even done a curl in his life!! Damn his genetics!!

305 - funny you should say that but that is one of his main reasons for training. he wants to be able to hit so hard that he can still break ribs through body armour!! I offered to don an HG2 vest and let him hit me then i thought about it and backed out!
Millet - thats some impressive squatting in anyones book mate!! My other friend lost his leg just above knee in a car wreck and he is still in very good shape and is leg pressing some good weight. he cant squat as his prosthetic leg would break as it lacks the correct range of motion in the ankle joint, got any tips for him as he would love to squat again...
