one you break it in you should get in quicker
do you have suit slip ons? if not wrap a garbage bag around your legs, it makes it slide on easier.
my suit take s10-15 minutes for a tight z-suit that pops blood vessels in my legs if i leve it on too long.

It takes me about one minute to get a comp suit on. You dont want to spend 1 hr at a meet putting a suit on...you dont have the time nor the energy. Try suit slippers...they help a lot. Sounds like a tight suit...just make sure you can hit depth with your opener.

Yeah, seems to be a little too small. My Hardcore fits real nice and it takes about 3 minutes to put on.

newbie question here
why do yall wear these suits? are they for protection or to allow you to lift more than you normally can?

it is for protection somewhat but they do allow you to lift more, everyone is diff and what they get out of their suit is diff. I have one just i've never used but I will be soon. I'd like to see myself how much I get out of mine. I know it's gonna be EXTRA TIGHT since when I ordered it I was 176 and now i'm 204

Lil Girl,
I thought the same thing about deads when i first put the suit on, it was a total pain in the ass, but i found that I still have to bend over, and grab the bar and pull myself down into position.

With all due respect to the powerlifting crowd, I think these goofy suits are the equivalent to running a world record 100 meter time in a 75mph tailwind. If you can't lift it raw, you can't really lift it.
Not intended to offend anyone. Just my two cents.

Ok, why not run your 100 meter dash without your shoes? a little harder huh? Well just remember...the suits are our equipment that allows to perform to our maximum best...just as you spinters have your special shoes...we have squat suits and so forth...thats my 2 cents.

Its all good little girl. I didnt know about the situation at elite. I'd much rather keep it strict PL discussion. Good idea about closing the raw vs equipped threads. They never lead anywhere.

Ok, I think the seamstress had one too many maguritas at lunch the day they made your suit I am sure they will get you another one out. I had the same thing happen with a poly shirt...they left a complete arm off it.
