    Mendelson and Kennelly

    Scot Mendelson benched 701 RAW today. He did attempts of 645 and 701.1 Report is that the 701 went up really easy. Not sure what he weighed, but thats the 2nd best raw bench of all time.

    Ryan Kennelly opened with 711 easily and missed 805 twice. Apparently he had some trouble with his groove. Ryan will be back to get his soon. Can you imagine having 805lbs in your hands lying on a bench? Unreal.

    what meet was this?
    Is Chabot still going for 700 raw in april?

    Good luck to Kennelly, I cant imagine 800lbs in my hands, let alone 500 or 600

    yeah, didnt he weight like 400+ though?

    mendelson only weighs 308... thats pretty damn impressive.

    I don't think Mendelson is aiming for the 711 raw record. His next meet is the WPO in New Orleans, Nov 9th I believe. I spoke to someone who spoke to him at the meet and he said look for 800++ to fall at the WPO.

    I am getting a video of the 701 by Mendy as we speak. I will upload it and post the link here. From what I have heard...he was good for 730-750 raw.

    Henderson was 394 when he did his 711. Mendy was 308 today.
    I believe Chabot is still planning on 711+ in April.

    Thanks Chad for the clips. Un freakin real! Man seeing that kinda lifts make me realize how little and weak i am. Thanks! Now i am back down to reality.

    I got a PL usa here were Mendolson weighs 255 and benches 620lbs. That was in Aug 2001. Look at how much he has done in that time. What ever he is doing is really workin.

    I was looking at the same thing with Kennelly. It was a 99' Issue of PLUSA where he had done 650. Both those guys have come a long ways.

    LoL, If your lifts are weak, then mine must be non-existant!

    DAMN All these people are monsters I'd like to know how they train and how they've gone through trial and error and what they've found works only for a certain length of time, or have they stuck with westside since they started it???

    Chad if it's like that then I guess I might as well be a women lifter.

    iron it wasn't meant to be offensive towards women. HELL you hold the world record in your class so if I was a women like you I wouldn't mind it all that much.
