Thanks boys, the comp went well. I had NFI on what I was gonna lift and had to sort of wing it as I went. Adrenalin got the best of me and my form slipped a bit though. My results were

    SQUAT
    1. 140kg, 308lbs
    2. 160kg, 352lbs
    3. 180kg, 396lbs (fail)

    BENCH
    1. 140kg, 308lbs
    2. 150kg, 330lbs (fail)
    3. 150kg, 330lbs (fail)

    DEADS
    1. 200kg, 440lbs
    2. 220kg, 485lbs
    3. 230kg, 507lbs

Im happy with the deads but am dissapointed with the bench. A week before I pressed 165kg but this was the first time ive had to stop the bar on my chest, so im still learning the technique.

Ive only just started doing squats so im still getting the technique down so I was happy with that. 160kg was equal to my PB but it just flew up. In hind sight I should have attempted 170kg on my 3rd.

Overall I had an absolute fantastic day. EVERYONE was friendly and willing to help out where ever they could from wrapping to technical points. I defiantly learnt a lot and if I wasnt already hooked, i am now 100%

    Congratulations!

    Here are a few suggestion:
    1. Avoid max singles 1-week before a meet.
    2. Try doing 3-5 reps 1-week before a meet.
    3. Practice the pause.
