box squats
how do you perform a proper box squat. also what is the idea behind them?

Box squats help develop starting strength out of the hole by taking away the stretch reflex of the negative portion of the lift.
I always liked that there was no need to worry about depth. Once you choose your box hight, thats it.

so your saying that when you first start working out to do box squats so you can develope form?
