Are you looking to stay in the same weight class your in now or get bigger and stronger?
Id have a read through this thread here by Doc:
3x3 and 5x5 routines
Being that you are small though you may even be better suited to a program like WS4SB (WestSide 4 Skinny Bastards). Its a template by Joe DeFranco. Google it and youll finda lot of useful info.

In that case id look at the 3x3 and 5x5 programs listed above.
The more 'advanced' training cycles like the linear periodisation, westside, sheiko etc are all great programs, but being new to the sport in focus on learning the lifts and focusing on building a base strength.

find other powerlifters to train with. you will find sucess with knowledgable training partners and your average local fitness center will not have the equipment you need.
hammer your back, hams, stomach and triceps. learn good form ie(good training partners to help)
i dont come off gear and 99% of good lifters don't

http://www.powerliftingwatch.com/
Here is a start. It has navigation for Local powerlifting gyms in your area, to local meets, to all the gazillion federations you can join and it’s all free.
I think the best advice is to find someone in your area and train with some experienced lifters to get a feel for it. Also the best way to get into it is to start going to meets and do a few competitions
I love powerlifting and think it is one of the best communities around…
