Low Bar Vs High Bar Squat
Curious, how you guys feel about bar placement while squatting:
Low bar for higher numbers and more posterior chain emphasis?
High bar for better Quad development?

Since you're posting on the powerlifting section, I would say that most powerlifters (not all) don't concern themselves with quad development, but lift for absolute strength. Low bar squats allow you to get more muscles involved in the lift for maximum poundage lifted. That's the goal of powerlifting.
Many olympic lifters and strongmen do high bar squats for the quad development. Don't know of many powerlifters who do the same.

OK bar placement is huge, and can be the difference of 50lbs+ on your squat. You need to find your "sweet spot" especially in gear.
As far as training lifts high bar's have their place in training, some will get a better carryover from them than other's, you can rotate them in your ME days (conjugate method) or use them for assistance work.
Yes many PL'ers do not worry about quad development per say, but it is good to keep some sort of muscle balance to avoid injury!!!!
Also there are many variations to mix in......box squats, Safety squat bar, zerchers, front squats, plus numerous other barsthat ur gym prob wont have lol.
Anyway hope that helps some,
