    Box squaTS

I started box squatting about a month ago. been doing them 5x5 1 inch lower than parrallel. started with 315, and now at 365 5x5.. [ Also been doing stiff leg deads 5x5, and seated calf raises 5x12. on this same day ]

What is the best way to do box squats? Rep and set range?? What is best to do in addition to box squats??

    Thank you

As the weight is getting progressively heavier 5x5 is obviously not ideal, looking for input from you experienced powerlifters/strong men

I only box squat on my DE squat days. And I never do more than 2-3 reps with 70%. But I also use varying weights of chains or bands.

I took a video of a set yesterday so you could critique my form.. From what I see i need to drop the box a little [remove the plate], possibly be further away from the box and widen my stance.

    Hey Bro,

For sure, remove that plate and don't sit down to fast. I've done my boxes with a wider stance, I think it keeps the form better and the back tighter when you sit.

x2, but without the chains/bands. When I was in my program over the summer I'd usually do 8 sets of 2 between 60% and 80%, only on DE days though.
