Damn dude way to go. With That many reps with 3 plates do you know your max?
Good stuff.
Hmm... Probably somewhere around 425 I imagine. Haven't done a single on squat in 5-6 months. It was 415 then
very nice.....ah to be young, watching this without a belt or knee wraps...ouch
good job
Ouch? I don't think I've ever experienced knee pain in a hard set of squat. Only when I bounce and try to touch the floor which I don't do.Originally Posted by ironbeck

I singled out today. Warmed up with 330, 350, 370, 390. My main sets were 405, 420, 430, and 440 for 1. 440 was pretty hard but I honestly feel I can squat 450 as it were. I also did this while fighting off flu like symptoms. Lost almost 5lbs since Christmas afternoon.Originally Posted by Armykid93
Nice, but definitly not below parallel.

I've got 99 problems......but my squat/dead ain't one !!
It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.
Light travels faster then sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
Great place to start researching ! http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...-database.html
It's absolutely below parallel. Broke my knee every rep. It's the angle that's deceiving you
I'd call it at, or just reaching parallel, I wouldn't go trying to claim below parallel on those. I know how hard 315x20 can be, you gotta be in good shape to pull it off with as little as you breathed between reps at the end. Good work.
Yep, hell of a set. I probably cant do it,nor will I try.
I'm not "claiming" something that isn't true. It's the angle. Just draw a right angle and you'll see it's slightly below parallel. I had two people watching and they both even said it. My friend even drew a diagram with the right angle to confirm it. Hahaha
You can see that you went below parallel for sure
Looked solid to me, Nice job!
saying that those squats were anything other than near perfect is nit-picking. Very nice
Thank you very much!
Until you post a video of you squatting 315x20 going that deep, keep the damn parallel comments to yourself. Its impressive anyway you look at it
Great job. How often do you do high rep squats? What type of programming do you follow?
I do my own thing. Whatever I feel I need work on, I do more of. For the twenty's, I set myself up by doing 4 sets of 10. Then I did 3 sets of 6 Bulgarian split squats with 85lbs dumbells. I ended up doing 315 4x10 before switching to 20s. I did 310, 315, and then 320 for 20s before getting bronchitis and trying singles out. I ended up doing 370,390,405,420,430,440 for singles in the middle of having bronchitis.
you will patrick if you incorporate this ... lower the weight of you one rep max to 70% after every 5 x 5 squat workout and go for 20 reps or possibly more... That's what I do and it's working wonderful...
On another note,, he did hit parallel, barely, but I would consider that parallel.
