The progressive overload principle.
Is it good for building muscle and get swole? Thats my goal.

Lol @ the question. But yes, it is essentially the only way to build muscle.. lifting more weight/reps/sets so the muscle is forced to adapt (grow).

what about HITT?
i don't get it.. am I supposed to do 12+ reps with the haviest weight I can? for one set? or?? can you explain it to me in few lines? appreciate

HIT is just another style of training, all training revolves around progressive overload which is 'progressively overloading' the muscle and forcing it to adapt to higher stressors. Like starting out lifting 60kg for 4 reps, once you've adapted to that you push yourself to lift it for 5 reps, then you adapt to that and you lift 62.5kg for 4 reps, then push for 5. It's all about progressively overloading the muscles and forcing the muscles to adapt.

99% of all training programs for bodybuilding, powerlifting, and Olympic-style lifting follow the progressive overload principle.
In fact, you can invent your own training program right now and it will have the progressive overload principle within it.
So yeah. It works.
