    Get this shit - Lou lives in my area back home. One of his brothers runs a company that sells weight equipment, belts etc. We were shooting the sh*t and my friend and I asked him whats hes been up to. Lou's brother says well, ya know, appearences and stuff, nothing crazy, but he still busts his a** at the gym. Then, and here it is, he says to us "yea, he still trains heavy, you know, he does db curls with 100 lbs in each hand"

    Can you believe that sh*t!!! He seemed like a nice guy, maybe he exaggerated, I don't know, but if its true, DAMN!!!

    I don't care what anyone says, Lou and Arnold made BB what it is today. Ya'll can flame me if ya'll want, but I love Lou when Arnold beat him, I almost cried.... but even though Arnold wasn't Italian, I got over it, and began to like him, eventually after that.
    Lou's father was a cop wasn't he? I believe he was his training partner for a long time. Lou also is hard of hearing, I watched a special on him, and yes, I did see where he was doing 100 curls, I was sh*tting.

    I saw Lou in the summer of 92 at Golds in Venice,California. BIGGEST guy I have ever seen in my life. We were both waiting at the drinking fountain, and when the guy was finished he looked at me like, go ahead, and I said, Please after you. Ha Ha. Not a difficult decision. The guy was head and shoulders above everybody else I saw at the gym. And he had a reputation as being one of the nicest guys to.

    Another reply to almost a 2 1/2 year old thread. Oh well I like Lou. My friends were messing with him at the Arnold Classic a couple of years ago, he was charging $10 to take a picture with him so my friends were trying to get him in a picture in the background without paying. He kept covering his face, he was not amused.

    Just notice how NONE of the pics show his legs....that was his pitfall, his wheels were nowhere near the level of the rest of his physique. I'm still a fan of his though.

    When I was a kid I bought the incredible hulk inflatable muscles that were green and ran around growling like I was the hulk…Sometimes when I get board I still do it today…GROWL….URRR… :aliensp:

    Dude, go rent the new pumping iron with the additional stuff in it. You'll see in The Making Of part that Lou's dad never had an intrest in Lous training until that movie was made. The director wanted it to be a part of the movie just so that there could be a sub-plot.
