Thanks Kev.....the 2 time WSM is my all time favorite. Have you seen him lately? He's a ref for WSM along with Jamie Reeves, much smaller than he once was...barely recognizable.
I believe I saw WSM 2001 on ESPN a few weeks ago and yes he was maybe 235-245 lbs at the most. If that !Quote:

Why did he retire from competition ?
I'm not really sure...I know that he was coaching Janne Virtanen the year he won...2000 I believe.
He retired from competition because he feeled that he had accomplished everything he could and it was time to move on to other things in life. That what he said in an interview anyway. He had a leading role in a Werner Herzog-movie, where he played a jewish strongman in 1930´s. So I´m guessing he´s heading to Hollywood. :D
I wish he could try out powerlifting or bodybuilding.
He has always been one of my favorit WSMguys, I like him much better then magnus samulsson(even thou samuelsson is a swede like myself).
Hehe the swedish, norweigan and finish guys rules the WSM, I just hope I have some real nordic genes in me.
