whatever happened to this guy (dennis newman)??

I know none of can ever really no for sure where the exact cusp was, but if I'm not mistaken, wasn't dennis newman rising through the ranks before the slin/GH stack purportedly made its big foray into pro bb'ing and drastically changing the look from that point on? If that is in fact the case and these pics were pre GH/Slin explosion, how did this guy not throw something together to make a big run at an olympia?

He used gh at the very least. That's what accelerated his leukemia.

Redrock is right he developed Leukemia and dropped out of the whole life. He is still around only without the same full head of hair. He does not place that good at the competitions. Dennis had It ALL and it was a total shame to watch it all go to nothing........
