Kev are you still going on about that?
What's it gonna take? Does he have to swallow a medicine ball before you like him?

Can't we all just get along
I think this might get personal. It will eventually become one of those age old questions. Who was better Ronnie or Jay? Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie. Just as long as Jay does not become a sour bitch like Flex did when he couldn't beat Ronnie I will still follow Jay.
You can tell that I like both since my avatar is JAY. He always looks awesome in pictures.

I never liked Jay although he has great legs. I fink he's pretty arrogant and he never gets the water out of his face.

I say Ronnie is the true champ because he trains harder, and to me that is much more important than what one looks like.

Yes ronnie may train harder, but it all comes down to how they are that day of the contest. Olympic athletes train like hell, and the ones that get the bronze or silver might have trained harder than the winner, but on THAT day, the 2nd place couldn't perform better than the first. Jay showed up deserving to win, but didn't. It sux, but even olympic athletes get screwed too.

I Know he is not an arrogant person, just looks that way. Hes not over friendly but what pro is? I have seen Jay train in the last month and it always looked like he was training hard, maybe not heavy but hard. Why do you need to train heavy if you grow doing 20 reps instead of 8 ugly reps like Coleman. You do what you need to do to improve, Jay is young and I can garuntee he has put his time in from when he was just a teenager.
IMO Cutler is a better representative for the sport, he is better looking and more marketable and has yet to achieve the massive ab distention, you notice I say yet.
Coleman is great and probably the biggest most porportional guy in the world. One of the best mr. O ever.

He's not arrogant...you get one kid who flaps his mouth about how he tried talking to him and he was "rude" and all of sudden he's an ass...but i would be a dick, too, if i had people coming up to me every 2 minutes in the gym asking me ?'s while i am training...which happens all the time to him
vector- i'm sure 90% of the people on this board are if that's the criteria for being a good bb'er

It's not about how you train. It's about the effect the training has on your particular body.

Ronnie does 805lbs deadlifts and 200lbs DB presses in his video... that's sick!
Maybe it doesn't matter on stage but it's still sick!

I just bought Jay's video... He seems like a nice guy from how he speaks. I agree with the bodybuilding/powerlifting comparisons. If it were about lifting heavy Ronnie would have stayed being just a powerlifter.

Jay is very controlled when he trains. He's been injured before and is avoiding it now. Makes sense to me.
