Hey guys sorry i havent been able to respond to the numerous pms and everything, i was in vegas all week at the olimpia. here is my 2 cents:
1. Expo was pretty good, very packed, and i feel like they didnt give as much stuff out. When i say this i mean last year you would get tons of protein packs from each company, but this year only eas eas generous.
2. pissed that MD didnt have a stand. most of the stands were pretty packed with people working them, more than last year if you ask me.
3. Athletes - of course the bodybuilders were extremely nice. i took numerous pics with all of them and im going to post them later. i couldnt think of one that wasnt cool. my girlfriend thought jay was an ass but i think its cause he bumped into her and didnt say sorry. lol.. i still will not even go near fariggno because you cant take a pic of him or sergio unless you got the $$.
4. I ran into Tripple H and his wife on the way in. Stephanie was very nice, but HHH didnt seem like he wanted to be bothered, he thought he was so important. I asked for a pic you would have thought i asked for a kidney. I asked, "is the workout video coming out soon" he said, "december 4th." i said "oh great i cant wait to get it" he said "itll be out DEC 4th!!"
5. prejudging was great. last year i went to the finals, and this year the prejudging only and the prejuding is i think better because its not a dance contest, they have to go through the mandatory poses and thats it.
6. My results - obviously im not a judge but from what i saw these would be my results :
1. Ronnie Coleman - if he came in anything but perfect jay or gustavo could have taken it.
2. Jay Cutler - looked unbelievable, almost enough to make ronnie look human (almost). His back has grown tremendously and depending on what you think the perfect build is, he couldve won.
3. Gustavo Badell - came in shockingly great. beat out dexter definately. personally in my opinion of a great physique i think gustavo and dexter shouldve been in 1st and 2nd.
4. Markus Ruhl - looked great. he is definately on the rise.
5. Dexter Jackson - looked great, but didnt seem confident as usual.
higher up on the list. Pavol Jablonicky - always looks unbelievable.
further towards bottom. Gunter Schlierkamp- i think he has the most overrated physique in bodybuilding.
way towards the bottom. Chris Cormier - i think he looked horrible and placed this high because of his name.
