That was a good show

He will always be one of my favorites... he built a really well developed and balanced physique... but unfortunately he lost out to the mass monsters in Olympias...

I hope his health is well these days...

why, of ALL PEOPLE, did he use synthol and escilene?

he had what amounts to a perfect body. With the exception of his calves, he epitomized perfection. I suppose losing to mass monsters like dorian or ronnie who had backs that made his look comparably weak was frustrating, but why use the damn stuff in his delts?

egads. I like his columns in the musclerag though, he gets along and has a rapport with the athletes. very cool.

that calf shit was a rumorr .. thats why shawn ray had a pissy fit .. they took xrays of his calfs .. aint no synthol or implants.. dont hate on the man .

Have you read the paper that the Balco president wrote when he did some studies on Flex Wheeler. Look it up if you haven't. Basically lab tests prove that Flex Wheeler had the best genetics in bodybuilding.

Flex is the man. If i had a choice on whos body i could choose to look like as a pro it would for sure be Flex in his prime. He was unbelievable. He still has some size on him from what i hear unlike levrone who has totally gone the opposite route of bodybuilding.

you look at a body like that and you've got to wonder, if that was never the best body in a single year, what is it exactly that is beautiful; or what does a body builder need to look like. If it is a game of mass monsters, then Jay should have won once or twice. I remember being in 9th grade seeing flex and ray for the first time and I said, "damn they are the total package." Flex should have nailed down one in his time.

I'm impressed. I didn't know of any of tha current bodybuilders then, until I was out of highschool... There was an article about Dorian and he was talking a bit of trash about how well known he was at the time vs Arnold... That he's about to beat Arnolds olympia wins... I wouldn't have remembered if Arnold's name wasn't in there... I actually back searched the pros at that point until I had read so much about them I knew them by there first names, Ken, Shawn, Kevin ,Mike Mazz, Vince T, Nasser, Paul D (both of em)... That got me thinking just now... they were lifting weights when I was 10yrs old and all I knew about were making pistols out of PVC...

I admire both of those guys. Even if Flex did deserve to win. They both took their bodies to great lengths to be the best.
