Johnnie Jackson, guest posing 3/10... bad...
What great representation for the sport especially for a PROFESSIONAL

what is the point of doing abs and thigh at that bodyfat percentage?
i am shocked, johnny is one of my favourite bodybuilders, i guess this is a testament to how hard he must work during contest prep

I think it's ridiculous how much pro's let themselves go in the offseason. they are the highest representation of the sport there is, and when someone who dosnt follow the sport sees them and finds out they are a pro, they just look at like...your just fat.....

Top level pros don't have an 'off-season'.
To make the drastic improvements that their shallow fan-base requires from contest to contest they have to employ extremes.
You fans are impossible.
I'd bet, like is the case with so many others ripped-to-shredz-year-round competitors, that if he came to each contest looking the same he'd get flamed for coming looking the same... and being complacent.

It is impossible to please the bodybuidling public.
Stay lean year-round.. make a good rep as a guy that always shows up in shape. Get a few guest-appearances.
Arrive at a contest looking the same as at a guest appearance (i.e. no bigger)... and be relagated to the bottom of the barrel..
Of course, reduced placing will mean reduced requests for guest-posings.
So regardless of your reputation.. you don't get shit.
Bulk up.. get flamed.

There's lots that sports needs.
Sure, showing up to guest-posing is disrespectful imo.. but most times, guys don't have a choice.
It's either:
¤don't show up ..and get sued for breaking contractual agreements
¤show up in (or near) contest shape... and lose out on the 'off-season's potential improvements
¤Show up offseason... take flack.. and show up on contest ripped and huge-er.. and win some cash and admiration
Sorry SVT.. but til you've walked the walk, you're just another bitter 'fan'.

I agree with you Nark that the pro's need to do what they need to do to remain the best. But let's be realistic, JJ is not going to be top 5 in the Olympia. That's just letting himself go IMO

i hate pro bb'ing but completely respect these guys for what they do. in 16 weeks he will be dry as a bone, shredded to the gills. anyone who thinks these guys stay lean year round (with the exception of palumbo) is crazy. they have to continue to improve and eating like a bird wont do shit.
and the comment about people who arent into bb'ing seeing him and lau***ng saying he is fat are the same people who will say he looks gross when competition ready so who cares what a lay person may think. they have no clue whether the guy is ready to compete or not. therefor their opinion means zero.

my opinion.....he is either "off"(not likely) which would cause fat gain along with just relaxing and eating what he wants...OR.....he is just retaining loads of water from androgens/hgh+high calorie diet that is NESSECCARY for a dude at his caliber to gain size, this comes with some fat......either way he is a pro we are not and I'm sure he knows just a little something about gianing muscle, just maybe lol

the guy is a competitive powerlifter too..its not like you'd slap him in the gut and it would jiggle...he still has full visible abs..they are just huge so it makes his torso look thick..bulking is part of the lifestyle...i dont think thats overdoing it at all, especially for someone competing in strength..and the funny thing is..thats probably more healthy than being in contest shape.

its just a joke to me. and when the career ends, and they all end, whats left? an individual who is required to use insulin , t3, and test forever because their natural production of all of them has been destroyed. its just a joke. and there is very little difference between many of them. a group of judges tells us who's best. makes no sense to me.

sorry for the rant but this is the tip of the iceberg of why i hate pro bb'ing.

jj, looks pretty nasty in the pics, however I'm sure he's looking at the big picture at what he feels he needs to do to move up a couple of spots. Just hope he doesn't let this get to out of hand or he could move down a couple of spots as well.
