Dutasteride and low sex drive

I've been using dutasteride (0.5 mg/day) for the past 12 days. During the first week, I noticed my sex drive had decreased dramatically. Any suggestions on how to alleviate this? I've cut my dosage in half about 3 days ago, but still don't notice any improvements.

I was thinking the same thing because if it is being used to treat hair loss, .125 is sufficient.

I am taking it for hairloss. Wow, I didn't realize .5 was way too much, it's the dosage i've seen others post on here. Well, now I know. Thanks for the replies.

I'm confused, I've been doing ARs Dut at .5mgs/day as well. 5 pumps in the AM and 5 at night. Based on this info:

Dutasteride
30mLs .5mgs/mL
10 pumps=1mL
10 pumps=.5mgs
1 pump=.05mgs
Dosage and Administation of Dutasteride
The recommended dose of dutasteride is one capsule (0.5 mg) taken orally once a day. The capsules should be swallowed whole. Dutasteride can be administered with or without food.

I think the dosage info I got off a Dutawteride site...since ARs is liquid.

I have heard that .5 mg dutasteride is a good dosage. I don't think thats too high, but like everything it's all dependent on how your body reacts.
