Dear AR-R are you aware of the serious flaw in your payment system

Like a lot of RC sites that use authorize.net for credit card transactions many customers are unable to purchase through the conventional methods because of your credit card transfer issuer (authorize.net)

All transactions put through authorize.net where the issuing bank does participate in AVS end up declined because authorize.net sees their zip code as malformed

The Address Verification System (AVS) is a system used to verify the identity of the person claiming to own the credit card. The system will check the billing address of the credit card provided by the user with the address on file at the credit card company. The other security features for the credit card include the CVV2 number.

If the bank doesn't support AVS, its treated as AVS unavailable and is accepted.

If the bank does support AVS, its treated as AVS MISMATCH and is declined, even though it is right.

At present, only a few countries support AVS on Visa and MasterCard, notably the USA, Canada and the United Kingdom. American Express does not support AVS in other countries than the USA.
Cardholders with a bank that does not support AVS may receive an error from Internet stores due to the lack of data.

It's fine that you ship internationally but we have no way of paying

    I hope you were aware

Please fix this if you want our business

    or

accept other payment methods such as paypal

I want to do business with you but I will have to go else where again due to this same technical problem

for anyone wondering this is what happens

yes there is sufficient funds on the card

    yes I own the card

it's frustration enough having gone through picking out what you want a filling in the information and then getting some error at the end

but the bank also holds on to the amount as the issuer authorize.net holds on to the funds thinking it's fraud and the bank then takes up to 10 days to clear the money

so you have upwards of $/£/€200+ on hold with no gain

    that you might need

PK-V, thanks for the feedback. I promise I value it, but there is a reason for the current system. It is not something that needs fixed, it is there on purpose. Due to security concerns, we have heightened our processes so that each transaction is as safe as possible, not just for you the customer, but for the store as well. These restrictions are in place as a protection for all of us. Most countries where our customers reside are included within the parameters that have been set. Most customers rarely have issues. For further discussion, please send me a PM or shoot me an email, [email protected].
