    Grilled Steak

    Grilled Steak
( Grilled Sirloin Steak with an Asian marniade)

1-1/2 pounds boneless top sirloin steak, about 1-1/2 inches thick
    1/4 cup + 1 tbsp reduced-sodium sauce
    3 tbsp steak sauce
2 tbsp each of lime juice and packed brown sugar
    1 tbsp grated ginger root
    2 cloves garlic,minced
    1 tsp sesame oil
    1/4 tsp black pepper

Trim any excess fat from the steak and pierce the meat continously with a fork. Combine all reamining ingredients in a small bowl and pour over steak in a large,heavy-duty,resealable plastic bag. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight if possibly.

Prepare the grill. Remove the steak from the marinade and grill over hot coals for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until the desired "dineness" is reached. Brush steak occasionally with leftover marinade.

Let the meat rest for a few minutes before slicing. Cut against the grain into thin slices. Serve immediately

    Makes 6 servings

    Meal Contains: 262 calories
    8.5 g fat
    3.1 g sat fat
    35.4 g protien
    8.3 g carbs
    0.1 g fiber
    101 mg cholestrol
    661.2 mg sodium

I know that the grilling seasons is almost over with winter setting in but maybe you guys can use this one before the weather gets to cold.

Tobey my man I'm drooling. The only thing I like more than a big fat juicy steak (medium-rare) is a massive feed of sushi!! The only probelm with steak is...I can't eat just 4-6 oz. The cut has to be at least 16oz of prime cow or I'm just not satisfied. Anyway, rest assured, I will be giving this one a whirl!!

Tobey, if you want steak you need to talk to Mugs. He can cook a steak that will melt in your mouth. It took me 45 seconds to eat one of filets. Now that's a good steak.
