If you want easy and quick, pierce with fork, marinate in olive oil and worcestire overnight, then sprinkle with Montreal Steak Seasoning right before cooking.

I'm a huge fan of dry rubs, spices rubbed on the raw meats surface just before it's cooked...There's lots of good ones in the spice section of the super market...

I hate the Montreal Steak seasoning. If you combine a package of taco mix and a package of italian seasoning, and let it marinate the steak in a half can of cola, it is a lot like outback's seasoning. There is a lot of variation though in the brands of seasoning, sometimes it will taste too much like taco meat. I've gotten it just right once, and it was **** close to an outback special.

NO NO NO
Get a good KC Strip steak (im from kc)
Get some Daddy Hinkleys rub and marinade.
It's a two pack sort of deal you rub the seasoning on and then open the other side with the wet seosoning. Throw it in the fridge for half hour. Grill and enjoy. You'll be making the () face soon.

Montreal Steak seasoning is coincidentally my #1 choice, but....the sodium levels make you retain water and the #1 receommendation for getting rid of the bloat look is eliminate sodium completely from your diet. So based on that, what seasoning is tastey but not going to contribute to water retention/bloat? Marinade in Nolvadex ? Just kidding

I throw as much sh1t into my marinade as possible and it turns out good.
+10000000 on the marinadeing in cola, there was actually some sort of test done that showed coca cola could disolve all the meat off a bone if left in for long enough, which yields a mighty tender steak if marinaded over night.
try this combo: Coke or pepsi 1/3 cup, Splash or two of soy sauce (horrendous amounts of sodium though), worceshire, and some seasoning salt.

I've tried of bunch of recipes and regardless of the spices that are used, do this...
Pull the steak out of the fridge, put it on a plate and put on your spices on...Whichever spices you use, use kosher salt, (NOT TABLE SALT) a big box of kosher is only $2.00...Once the meat is seasoned leave it out on the counter and preheat your oven/grill...Once it's warmed up, cook as usual...The steak will be as juicy and tender as you can possibly make it!
