    Tasty Chicken

Just thought I would share a small recipe for some tasty chicken. It's nothing to complicated but tastes good.

    8oz Lean Chicken Breast
    2tsp Hot Sauce
    1tsp Vanilla Extract
    Sprinkle Ground Basil Leaves
    Sprinkle Ground Garlic
    1tblspn Flax Oil

Cut chicken into strips or preferred sizes and grill Chicken in Frying pan on LOW HEAT for 12-15 minutes COVERED.

After the chicken is done slow cooking, I usually throw steamed chopped Brocoli in the same pan I used for the chicken for a few minutes to aid some flavor towards the Brocoli.

Just an FYI I don't mean to be negative, but pure vanilla extract is alcohol! I know it's only a teaspoon...

Correction, SOME alcohol burns off not all...If it really did all burn off, what's the point of using something with alcohol in it?

Here's great link that shows alcohol content when introduced to heat...

    http://whatscookingamerica.net/Q-A/AlcoholCooking.htm

Edit...Most extracts have about 35% alcohol, then some of that is lost to cooking...There's still some alcohol in there so it's considered a very mild cheat...I personally would much rather use a 1/2 teaspoon of table sugar as a mild cheap, but to each their own...

vanilla is an interesting idea. If you're seriously worried about the calories of a teaspoon of vanilla extract...

I'm not worried about the calories...I'm worried about the alcohol...When you consume alcohol your body stops all fat burning and shifts all it's effort into alcohol removal mode...

Again, my point was, if your going to use a teaspoon of a "cheat" why not use sugar? I prefer sugar over vanilla, I guess that's just me...
