Low Carb Buffalo Wings
2 bags of chicken drummies or mixed wing parts.
Sauce:
21oz Durkee hot sauce or Red Devil hot sauce.
2lbs of butter
1/4 ground red pepper
1/4 cup ground cayenne pepper
1/4 cup ground chili pepper
1/4 cup crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup basil
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
Mix all ingredients and simmer sauce for 30-40 min.
Bake wings 350 deg until done.
Pour some sauce over the wings and broil til crisp, turn over and do the same on the other side. Place in a huge pot, pour remaining sauce on top and keep on low heat to keep warm.
THIS MAKES A VERY LARGE AMOUNT OF WINGS. Great for a very large Super Bowl party. I usually cut it in half if it isn't the main dish at the party. They are hot but not too hot. Also very good cold! You can use a crockpot on low also but they aren't usually big enough for even a 1/2 batch.
Serve with blue cheese dressing.
Blue Cheese Dressing : Carbs - 1 tbsp - 1 carb
