kinda dumb question but hell give it a shot

k im in the army and dont have a kitchen i have a slow cooker and a electric skillet thats all. there is a kitchen on the 2nd floor of the barracks but i dont really want to walk down there to cook. anyways my question is a slow cooker could that be used as a oven. if i make some meat loaf maybe put it in the slow cooker for 4 hours? would it work.
