I'd love a good pancake recipe where I could make up the mix in advance.

I drink my breakfast. It's fast and tastes good!

In a blender put 300ml of egg whites, 30g scoop of protein powder and a 100g of oats with some ice cubes. Blend for a few seconds and drink! Macros are about p60/c60/f8 depending on your brand of protein and oats.

Do you just use the egg beaters egg whites? I'm trying to get back to oatmeal, I love the flavored stuff but know it's crap for nutrition purposes.

Yep egg whites from the carton..

Oats are really good for you. If you add protein power to oats they can taste really good.

    Oat Pancakes:

1 cup oats (just regular old fashioned oats)
1 cup egg whites (about 7 large eggs)
1 cup fat free cottage cheese (or 1% if you desire)

    Splenda all you want
nutmeg, dash if you so desire
    drop of vanilla, if desired
    baking powder about 2 teaspoons

First: Blend the oats in a blender until real powdery (no water just blend dry )
Add all the above ingredients and blend until a good consistency for a pancake

Cook on griddle/pan which should be real hot after sprayed with Pam....and then cook like a regular pancake

    TOP with:
    Sugar free syrup
and banana or raspberries with a dollop of plain Greek yogurt to spread around the pancake and sprinkle some splenda on top of the yogurt
    -or-
fry an egg with Pam and top your pancake with the egg

    ENJOY!

MAKES 3 BIG PANCAKES! so good for 3 meals.

What brand are you using and from what supermarket boxa? My flatmate blew a gasket the other week 'cause there were 3 days worth of egg shells and yolks in the bin under the sink. I need something less offensive to her delicate nasal passages.

That's old school bro lol the brand is called golden egg farms. You can find them at Coles in the freezer section. The package is blue with a guy on the front curling a dumbell. You have to defrost them before you use them but they are so much easier than de-shelling eggs. They are also pasturised (pre cooked in a way) so you can drink them.

Microwave a big bowl of oatmeal, plain. Then hard boil some eggs. Real easy and if you dont want the yolks you can simply eat around them or peel of the whites. Thats my go to easy breakfast takes all of 15 minutes to make. The only reason it takes that long is cuz of the waiting time for the eggs to hardboil enough.

IF you can't be stuffed cooking in the morning: Add 1 cup oats, skim milk or water, microwave for up to 1 minute add 2 scoops flavored protein powder and your done. All under 2 minutes. I used to do this for 3 months while on diet, you got your carbs and protein.

Edit: It all depends on what you're trying to achieve.
