I have made this for several years (as have many im sure) but I think ive come up with optimal versions of both. There are 2 versions - one uses instant pudding - the other pudding you cook. Both have drawbacks. The instant is healthier in that it doesnt contain corn starch. The cooked however allows you to add more protein. The call is yours. They both make a fairly decent sweet snack. The possibility combos are endless flavor wise.

Instant

One pack fat free sugar free instant pudding
2 cups skim milk
1/3 cup fat free half and half
2 scoop protein powder

You can mix all ingredients in a shaker bottle - pour in bowls or plastic containers -chill to set and enjoy.

Cooked

One pack fat free/ sugar free pudding and pie filling
2 cups skim milk
2/3 cup fat free half and half
3 scoops protein powder

Put milk and ff half and half in a saucepan. Whisk in protein powder and pudding . cook over medium heat whisking continuously. Bring to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and stir for another min. Pour into bowls - chill to set and enjoy.

A few notes : Im sure you could use Almond milk if you dont do dairy. Also whey proteins seem to work best as they dissolve well.

My all time fav is the cooked version using vanilla pudding , 2 scoops vanilla whey conc , 1 packet artic frappicino whey protein isolate and some divincis sugar free carmel syrup. It is amazing.
Marcos vary by version , liquid used and protein powders but I get 4 large servings from the cooked version.
