Here is another favorite. But only good on a bulk. It's hard to calculate macros but delicious and healthy!

    A basic pesto consist of:

    Basil
    Parsley
    Garlic
    Evo
    Pine nuts
    Parmesan.

What I do Is make a batch which could yield easily 20 portions depending on what u do with it. and toss whole wheat pasta In it. You can crust chicken. Or even top anything with it as a sauce. My fav meal! Can eat it with shrimp, steak, chicken, lean ground.

Couple twist to do to it. Use arugula or even spinach instead of herbs. And u can easily sub any nut for the pine nuts. I always use almonds.

    Start by toasting nuts.

Chopp which ever greens u are gonna use. Not much chopping needed. Add to your blender but food processor ten times easier.

Add nuts, parm and garlic to your greens.

Process or blend to a paste.

And Evo as its blending to desired thickness or consistency. If you need measurement just google. But truly a healthy addition to any bulk meal.

Try it with spinach or the arugula on the whole wheat pasta!

Pesto is awesome. Works great as a sauce for steak or chicken too; Or at least for me. Great way to work in that needed good fat.

Always extra virgin. Try it different with other leafy greens.
