    All junk food ain't bad

Thats right, and I don't know about you but when Football season rolls around there are more dips and snacks that can screw your diet up. And most will IF you don't know how to travel into the dark domain of the junk food world with out any knowledege on whats good and what ain't. Not all of the recieps that I come across are dinners and such. Many are good healthy snacks that may not be extremely high in protein but all are low in fat and all the bad shit that we are deticated to trying to advoid. The next time one of your buddies invites you over to watch a Saturday afternoon game, go prepared with these dishes and you will not have to worry about the accasional snack interferring with your diet.

( For pita chips or baked tortilla chips only, anything else is a no,no)

1 can (15oz) black beans drained and rinsed.
    1/4 cup minced onions
    2 tbsp chopped, fresh cilantro
    1 tbsp lime juice
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/4 tsp each ground cumin and balck pepper
    1/3 cup low-fat sour cream

Combine all of the ingredients except sour cream in a blender or food precessor and whirl until smooth. Transfer mixture to a small bowl and stir in the sour cream. Cover and refrigerate until time to serve.

    Makes about 1-3/4 cups

    Snack Contains-- 51 calories

    Tangy Plum Dip
( For chicken nuggets or chicken skewers)

1 cup yellow plum or apricot jam
    1/4 cup of orange juice
    2 tbsp white vinger
    1 tsp dry mustard powder
    1 tsp reduced-sodium soy sauce
    1/2 tsp grated orange zest

Combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until jam is melted and dip is bubbly.

Dip contains-- (Serving size about 2 tbsp)
    58 calories
    0.1 grams of fat
    0 grams of Sat. fat
    .2 grams of protein
    15.4 carbs

I'm just an average guy who picked up a reciepe here and there trying to prefect a diet! I do have to admit that some of the shit that I've made does taste pretty good though if I do say so my self.
