My Osta Test
Guys,
I've not posted much, but have been reading a lot.
I just took my first dose (12.5mg) of Osta a few minutes ago.
I'll stick at 12.5 for a week or so then I might walk it up.
I'll play it by ear.
I went to my local pharmacy and purchased some 1ml oral syringes.
With these I can accurately measure the dose and the liquid squirts out quickly rather than drops out from a couple of squirts from the dropper.
I bought 50 for $1.50. Not a big investment.
The taste wasn't as bad as I was prepared for, but then again using the oral syringe I was able to squirt it towards the back of my tongue. I washed it down with coffee.
I'll make a post every day or so.
Oh by the way, I'm 48, 5-8", 165lb.
My last cycle was 1986.

12.5mg ed
Already used to the taste. Tastes like glue smells. I've eaten worse tasting food.
I had a little trouble getting to sleep, but that was probably the jack3d.
Normal back/biceps workout last night.

Just took dose no. 5.
All at 12.5mg
No sides.
I did legs on Saturday & shoulders/traps on Sunday. Both great workouts.
No noticeable changes in body comp yet.

I've read a lot of logs recently, and noticed that some people like to preload with 50mg/day for a week when they start, and then taper down to 25 or 12.5.. that way, the effects kick in right away at the higher dosage and then are sustainable at 12.5

Interesting dosing.
I'm going to stick to my plan as I'm already in it.
I'm going to go to 18mg/day on day 8, then hold that for a week.
Day 6 was this morning.
My clothes are fitting a little tighter, both shirts and pants (thighs).
I'm ingesting a lot of protein for this trial. I also changed up my workouts prior to starting. So I would say it's not just osta doing this. We'll see.
No sides to speak of, bathroom stool is a little loose, but not a problem.
I took a Test test the day before I began this, so I'll see where I was. I do not have the results back yet.
I'll be finished with this bottle about 35 days after the start. Anyone have any ideas on if 35 days should be one cycle, or would another 3-4 weeks be the way to go?

Got the Test lab results back. 547 immediately before the start of osta.
Interesting because about one month ago it was 330, from the same lab.
The first test I gave blood in the morning and was fasting because it was also for cholesterol. I was also having normal workouts.
For this test, I had taken two weeks off prior to giving the sample and I gave it late in the afternoon.
kidney, liver, psa numbers all fine.

Day 7, I increased the dose from 12.5mg/day to 25 mg/day.
No sides, good pumps, but no definite attributable body changes yet.

Did Chest & triceps last night.
As I only hit each body part once per week, this was my first opportunity to "duplicate" a work-out on osta.
My strength was definitely up last night.
No sides.
No significant appearance changes.

I may need to go to an independent lab and pay out of pocket for that one. Which parameters are you interested in other that a Test count?
I doubt my Doc will authorize another one month after my last one.
So that will introduce the "different lab" variable.
How long after stopping it should I get BW done?
Still at 25mg/day
No sides, no amazing physical transformations.

If you want to see if the compound is suppressive just before end of your cycle, liver enzymes and estro also would be interesting as this is being pushed by some to have no sides of AAS (shedding,increased estro,being suppressive,prostate growth) Are you having anything with this such as dry mouth?

No dry-mouth yet.
I've read some about increased sweating. I did sweat last night more than normal.
My dosage (1 bottle) works out to a 34 day cycle which ends on Feb 8th.
Any opinions out there on how long a cycle on this stuff should last?
One bottle or two?

well right now people are running it in all ranges 6-8 weeks, 3 months and some running anywhere from 6-12 months,imho i would go 8 weeeks.

Thanks - I'll run it for 8, and if amazing things begin happening perhaps 12. I'll order another bottle.
Now I'm wondering if I should switch "brands" or stick with what I have.
A crap shoot either way.

Did Chest and Triceps last night.
It was so fricken cold outside, I lifted at home instead of going to the gym, so I had different equipment.
The pump was very good.
I am beginning to feel a bit harder throughout the day. I guess I could infer an increase in muscle density, but it's too early in the game for me to make that claim.
Still no sides.
I'll order that 2nd bottle soon.

Just did legs & abs.
I'm exhausted.
I experienced some severe dry mouth today.
This might be my first noticeable side.
I've decided to cut my dose to 0.7 ml/ed [17.5mg]
As a senior member reminded me, 3mg/day was the study dosage.
I use graduated 1 ml oral syringes, so accurate dosing is no problem.

Did shoulders today.
Strength was up on all exercises, with a very good pump.
Vascularity increasing a bit. Showing a little more abs.
No sides.
Beginning to enjoy this.

I did back & biceps tonight.
My strength has increased a bit with the last several back workouts.
By strength increase, I mean that for lat pulls, I start with one stack plate heavier than the week before.
Pretty much everything is ratcheting up nice and slow on all of the exercises.
I am writing all of the sets/weights in a log book so I can actually see the week-to-week numbers rather than just guessing.
I am sweating more in workouts than I used to.
I used to only break a sweat on leg day, but I am sweating on all bodyparts now.
I guess I can say that I feel more dense.
My weight is up 1 lb since I started.
My diet is pretty consistent, and I don't drink so I do not have any big "bubbles" in my diet that could cause widely varying numbers.
I read a lot about body fat levels dropping.
I think I am beginning to agree with that. Simply put, my pants are fitting a bit more loose in the waist. Would I say that I am "freakin ripped" from this product?
No, but I do like what's happening. I am moving in the right direction.
No sides that are bothering me.
So far so good.

Did chest/triceps late last night.
Again strength is up since the last workout. This seems to be the norm now.
I read in Burgerflaffen's osta log that he can dig a little deeper for another rep.
I totally agree - me too. Probably all mental. "I'm on Osta, I can get one more out of it."
OK, here's a side that I just figured out I have.
My freakin sex drive is through the roof. This I would say is the most distracting side to date.
Geez. I mean it's just a constant underlying feeling throught the day.

Another post.
Every time I hit the gym, my strength has increased.
Legs yesterday & shoulders tonight.
Both were great, increased pounds and very good pumps.
I feel hard all the time now.
I like it enough that I'm going to pull the trigger and get a 2nd bottle.
I'll continue through that one then call it a day.
Still at 18mg/day
No complaints, no issues.

great log bro!
have you thought about running Osta and S4 together. From what i've been reading the side from S4 do seem to be dose and duration dependent, but the androgenic properties from S4 i think would work synergesticly with the Osta....at least that's what is running through my mind - along with other things lol!!!

Yes I have been.
I'm up about 3lbs.
If you guys have noticed, all of my posts lately have been about the same.
No sides
Slow gradual strength increases
Weight slowly increasing
Muscle density increasing.
So as not to bore you, I'll probably not post that often unless something changes.
This osta run will complete in late March.
At my 18mg/day dose the supplies will run out at that time.
That will be a total of about 12 weeks on.
As I approach that date I will probably have PCT questions for you.

ok - will do.
I'm thinking, I wonder if I should finish this bottle off, than wait a month or so before I start another bottle (which is in the mail).
This bottle will have lasted about 40 days.
What do you guys think?

Another observation.
I've always had "issues" with my elbows. They are my weak link.
They feel really good these days.
The real test will be how they feel after I am off for a while.
I've got about 8 more days on this bottle.
I weighed in at +5lbs this morning.
Testosterone check
If you look back towards the top of this thread you can see my test numbers.
I tested in the low 300's after fasting. A cholesterol test was performed at the same time. I was also training hard on the days before.
I lift from at about 9:30-10:30pm so sometime my sleep suffers.
I pinched my sciatic nerve on Christmas day and was forced to take two weeks off.
At about 1.5 weeks into that 2 weeks I went and had my test checked again.
This time, no fasting, much sleep, and no training before it.
I tested around 550.
So for this post-osta test workup I'm going to try to replicate the conditions before the 500 test.
The same lab ran both tests.

"My Osta Test" is complete.
Bottle empty after 36 days.
I've been happy with the lack of sides, strength and LBM gains and will run this again.
I already have a second bottle on hand.
As I am still making gains with no plateaus, I am considering opening the second bottle tomorrow.
Any thoughts?

I will say exactly what i am thinking. . .
If you really wannt to help the community and have the ability i would stop and get the blood tests so we have some hard data on what it did to you.
If you are in it for the muscle then roll on and see what happens after the second bottle.
I do like the data collection here. wish you had combined it with some basic measurements.

I did a week at 12.5mg/day, 1 week at 25mg/day, then the remainder at about 17-18mg/day
total length - 36 days
I am in my late 40's and 5'-8"

begin 165
end 168-169
body fat change
The only fat I have (or had) to speak of is in two places.
Upper inner thigh and rear side waist.
I have lost body fat in both places as I can see the difference and can feel the difference in how the pants fit.
Is it all gone? - no. Has it changed for the better? - Yes, definitely
Strength change
Here's some back workout numbers for you
I'll prefix the lbs with a B or an N for "before" and "Now (02Feb)"
Weight assisted chin-ups (the lower the poundage, the stronger I am).
If I have the stack at 50, I am subtracting 50lbs from bodyweight for chins, if I have the stack at 80, I am subtracting 80lbs from my bodyweight

I would just do the simple blood work. you know what you are looking for, but i often look to save a penny here and there. Your strength improvement in just over 30 days is exciting.Very interested inn the blood work (knowing the proper pct, if any, is a huge cost savings in addition to the health benefits. I mean if you can get through this without having to do a full PCT with clomid and nolva or your cocktail of choice, and test level are still in reason then this is really something.

I didn't open the 2nd bottle this morning.
I decided to take a break, let my body rest up and get the BW done.
I'm going to replicate the same conditions preceding the BW that I did when I got the 500+ number.
I know absolutely nothing about modern day PCT.
We did HCG back in the day - that's it.
If I need PCT, I'm going to have questions.
BTW, during this test period, my protein intake was high and consistent. I did everything I could to make the most of this test.
I did not add any aerobic activity either.
