    Cheating?

I hear everyone say "don't cheat on curls" so much in this forum. When I'm curling I do as many as I can with strict form and once I cant lift any more I do about 4 more reps with cheating. Is this OK, it seems better than just stopping to me.

I prefer to stop, rest 3-10 seconds, pump one more, and repeat until I hit at least 8.

Depends on how much you are cheating. Don't start swinging weights around and arching so bad it looks like you're doing the limbo. Cheat just enough so that your muscle is doing the majority of the work. if you have a workout partner it's much better to have them just barely "touch" the weight up for you when your in that sticky spot, while keeping good form.
