A friend just purchased saome gear from a lab I've never heard of called "Advanced Genetics", Deca 250 mg/ml and D-bol 10 mg/cap and the Deca vial says "Attention: Shake before each use". Is this even legitimate gear, and if it is why would you have to shake before each use?
By the way the stuff looks very UG or fake.

Sounds like it. There shouldn't be any need to shake, the active substance should be completely dissolved.

the only deca i have ever seen is oil based therefore there shld be no need to shake it... i don't even know if deca comes water based...

Shaking is both unnecesary and unwise. Unwise because you dont want air bubbles when injecting. You probably dont have deca in your hands if it says shake it.
