    12 weeks into cutting

I still have a way to go on cutting but I thought I would post updated pics in my cutting progress.

First pics are from 11/7/05 --- later pics are from 1/28/06

A slight change.. Warning.. The first pics are very scary and fat.

Still working hard for the abs.

I started at a fatty weight of 225 (I am about 5' 8 1/2") 39" waist (and that was cheating a little on the measure because I did not want to go past 40 )

I am at 203lbs now and a 33" waist (no taller LOL)

I want to continue to cut until I am in the single digit range and then move on to a leaner bulk and get back to about 215-220 and still stay below 10% BF (I am sure it will take a few cutting and bulking sessions to get where I want).

It is nice to shed that layer of flubber though.. yuck!!

Hi im actually new to the gym "lingo" i guess you can say but what is cutting? What is cycling? And also, oldman, do you have any tips on tightening your stomach? you lost a lot of inches there. i have a layer of fat on my stomach that i want to get rid of to show the ab muscles but it's so hard.

Cutting = Losing Fat, losing weight. Opposite of Bulking
Bulking = gaining weight, muscle... getting bigger (hopefully)
Cycling = a term used when you take a drug or something to enhance your workouts (bulking or cutting or whatever) for a set # of weeks. You would take lets say Test for 12 weeks and then cycle off and do PCT (post cycle therapy) and then wait and Cycle on Test again.

Now the only thing that will make your stomach tight is good clean diet, cardio helps.. Go to the diet forum there is a good sticky I have been told. I personally do Cardio 7 days per week.. you may want to scroll up a little and check out SwoleCat he offers customized plans to get you in shape.. I am under his wing right now.. I could not have done it without his help.
