What up? I met this girl at my work...and tonight we are going to hang out, but I don't know what to do. I'm thinking just take her to dinner and then mabey walk on the beach. Thinkin Sushi...yum.
Any advice, I just don't want to make it a big deal, just mellow.

Dinner and a walk on the beach sounds perfect- except working the " Hey wanna walk down the beach?" into the conversation might be a bit tough.

Plus the walk on the beach is a recipe for sexual tension. You'll be walking along and wondering if you should put your arm around her or not- or kiss her or not- or grab a boob or not- etc... And she'll be wondering why isn't he putting his arm around me? or leaning over to kiss? or grabbing my boob? etc....
Meantime the conversation will have totally dried up...

I'd say go with the the dinner and drinks after routine. the drinks always loosen up that first date.

And do NOT attempt to go for action. No kiss, no groping. Resist the temptation and it will pay off on the next date.

the girl I was supposed to go on a date with was going to go to Arizona this weekend to check out the Universtiy...well she ended up leaving last night so she called me to postpone . Damn I was really looking forward to Sushi ...haha.

then I gotta a phone call from another girl, so I took advantage of that, we went to rent Exorcist, but they didn't have it so we got the Wishmaster(her choice)....word of advice, don't ever ren't that fucking movie.

Ok well when girl number one comes back here's what I would do:

Walks on the beach are nice....they really are - but they have become cliche. I mean how much thought does it take to come up with that one? I am not ragging on you - just telling ya what she will think. She'll be bored with that idea before you hit sand.

As for sushi - Pete I will take you out - Sushi is my FAVORITE!!!!! But I don't know if she's down with that - if she is it's PERFECT! It's light so you wont be uncomfortable all night, she doesnt have to worry bout looking like a pig (lets face it - thats one of women's top concerns on a date - they never wanna look like a pig, thats why they order small salads then hit KFC for a bucket on their way home after they leave ya) Also - she will know you're spending atleast an ok amount of money - I mean Sushi is no Extra value meal. So if she's cool with it - then you're set.

As for a replacement for the beach - well the beach and movies are FAR too unoriginal - I would do something off the wall. Hard to say though cause I dont know her and I dont know where you are. But think of something different bro.
