computer people - HELP!

I had a computer disaster last night and ended up having to use my system recovery disks and basically recreate my computer from scratch. It now works faster than ever in every respect save for one that is really pissing me off: though internet pages themselves load EXTREMELY fast, scrolling down to view discussion board threads and similar scroll down features is RIDICULOUSLY slow (even in word or other programs with side scroll down bars). What could possibly be the problem?? Any input greatly appreciated.

nevermind...somehow my video card driver had become uninstalled. Reinstalling the driver fixed everything up REAL nice.
