6-8 weeks for test to kick in? WTF!!??

Recently I have came across posts from members who I assume know what they are talking about, that mention that long estered tests like cyp and enan can take 6-8 weeks to kick in. Has anyone ever had to wait this long for it? Whats the point of doin 10 week cycles then in this case? Or 12 for that matter? I Hope to hell I don't have to basically wait more than 4 weeks. Does your metabolism play a roll in this?? I'm keepin my fingers crossed......

i must be one of the members you are quoting mate...all that i have ever said is that test e for "ME"takes about 7 weeks to notice any significant gains.......this is not the same for everybody just how my body reacts to this certain compound...others have noticable gains within 4-5 weeks..everyone reacts slightly different to everybody else mate....hope this clarifys things a little better....

i can feel test e really kick in in about 24 days (3 1/2 weeks)

I am currently 6 weeks into my Test/Deca cycle and have not really gained anything yet. I have increased pumps, slightly increased libido, increased sweating, strength gains but no real weight gains to speak of. I will keep posting as I hopefully progress.

4-6 weeks for me to feel test e. i'm on prop right now and i feel that in less than a week =)

  8. #8
if you aren't gaining anything after 6 weeks in a test and deca cycle it's probably one or both of these factors: 1) you're not eating enough to gain mass, and/or b) You are not training hard enough to gain mass

for me training hard enough means taking usually 2-4 sets per exercise to failure- usually 2-3 sets. Absolute muscle failure...

is it beneficial to pyramid the beg of a long esther cycle? IE......lower MG in beg, higher in Middle, then tapper down......then stretch the cycle out to 15 weeks? What is the sense of wasting high MG in early shots if it does not hit you for 6 weeks?

I am workin on putting together a cyp cycle now.

Ummmm.... nobody does this anymore... pyramiding is bad for for blood levels.... the only way to get test to kick in earlier is to use a short ester.... or use a kickstart like dbol, drol, etc....

Dont say people do not do it (anymore). I know more than a few that do.

I know it does not leave test levels in the blood stable, and I am not talking about a conventional pyramid. Here is what I am thinking.

    wk 1 250
    wk 2 300
    wk 3 350
    wk 4 450
    wk 5 500
    wk 6 550
    wk 7 600
    wk 8 600
    wk 9 600
    wk 10 600
    wk 11 600
    wk 12 600
    wk 13 600
    wk 14 600
    wk 15 600

By the time you get to the 6th week, the first two/three shots are gone.....useless. So why not pyramid up in the begginning? I doubt that a 50MG per week difference would make much a difference. I call it "Juice Conservation"

    Hey.......Just an idea.

from what I'm understanding, its better to keep your blood levels the same. But if you frontload it will help everything kick in sooner. So if you wanna do 600 a week do 1200 the first week and 600 every week after. I'm still learning on this, but from everything Ive read it will work.

Huh......that seems rediculous to me. I have kinda heard the same thing before, but always disregard it. I was told it is a waste of juice, and that any effect was psychological.

The mind is a powerfull thing. I told my girl friend she is not a fat pig, and she actually thinks she is skinny! The Bit@h is fat!!

Here's why it usually doesn't kick in for most people until 4 - 6 weeks, and why frontloading can save you from wasting that first month and change.

The attached chart illustrates a test enanthate cycle of 500mg week. The blue line is the blood levels of a person injecting 250mg on Mondays and 250mg on Thursdays throughout the entire cycle. Look how long it takes to reach maximum test-e at which point it stays there, stabalized (the assumed half-life of test enanthate is 10.5 days): 5 weeks!

Now look at the red line. The red line is the same cycle, except that the first injection is 1000mg. Thereafter, each injection is 250mg. As you can see, the blood levels are essentially maximum and stable from the first shot on. You've gotten a jump-start of 4+ weeks by frontloading with an extra 750mg.

This data was derived from an spreadsheet. If anyone wants that, let me know and I'll try to find it again so people can download it.

Why do half the people on this board want to argue rather than exchange info. It is freakin rediculous. Go get some face paint if you come here to argue....cause your a clown.

Counterproductive and a waste of time.

Interesting. I have a roid calc somewhere.....I should run it on that and see what the results are. I guess when you think about this, It makes sense! Complete sense actually.

My 2 cents worth of information...I'm just getting into week 6. I front loaded 750mgs omni's for 2 weeks now-500mgs the rest of the way out...d-ball to start..strength increase started around week 4, more noticable size is just now happening..Depending on how this ends up i'm thinking a possibilty of 750 through out next yr this time for winter bulker..everybody is different. Its what works best for you...

imo pyramid up or taperin down is no good to your blood levels, they should be kept as stable as possible, will mean better gains and less sides....

The test Cyp took about 7 weeks for me, I took Anabol for the 1st 5 weeks, then lost a bit of water weight and bloat after coming off in week 6, then noticed it I started putting it back on again in week 7 with the test. I did a 12 weeker.

I agree... Actually I cant recall seeing anyone who has done this.....Sides and Things go kinda crazy if you do.. But we are all different.... Some people may not get effected this way I suppose......

I started week 10 of test c today...I think I felt it kick in a couple days ago...
And Im gonna run it for 16 weeks...Plus just threw in some prop starting yesterday.....

So you can frontload with the same estered test then? I've only heard of frontloading with another ester that is faster acting.

Well I have to get a cortisone injection on the 16th then lift light for 1-2 weeks, so I think I will run a 12 weeker (instead of 10) instead of even trying to frontload now. That way it will HOPEFULLY be in full effect by then

    So Booz,
You ever tried frontloading the test e in the firs shot? Did it help at all?
Also like to hear from Jay on that, and Pinn (if he can be nice) )

I always frontload and it does speedup when I feel the effects of test. However it doesn't kick in as fast as you would expect from the blood level charts. I suspect that blood levels are indeed getting to a higher level sooner, but some effects of test take a minimum of 2-3 weeks to be felt.

Seems that this thread took a turn for the worse. For those that are interested in frontloading there is plenty of info in this forum alone about it. Seems like all Pros and no Cons, surprised not more are doing it.

Let me ask those who are commenting about it. Who has actually done it? For those that have what were your results and doses.
