Shoulder Swelling

I injected 100 miligrams of test prop and my left shoulder and its been two days and my shoulder is still swollen and in some pain. Whats the problem?

was everything sterile ?,is it hot and red? is the pain down your back and arm aswell if yes to any of these it may be infected or the solution may be resting on a nerve

Its known to be painfull, how bad is the swelling?
