Femara or L-dex?

Hey fellas!

I have access to both femara (letrazole) and liquidex....so which one is best to use?

Also, i'm aware of the dosages used for L-dex...but have heard different stories on the femara...such as 1.25mg EOD or 2.5mg EOD...but have yet to see people taking it ED...anyone know why this is?

According to a certain someone, the dosage for femara is supposed to be 1.25 ed, which is also supposed to be equal to .50mg of anastrozole. (arimidex).

Femara is also supposed to raise IGF-1 levels, while Arimidex lowers them.

oh , and as far as the half life...

"Letrozole is rapidly and completely absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and its absorption is not affected by food. It is metabolized slowly to a pharmacologically inactive carbinol metabolite and renal excretion of the glucuronide conjugate of this metabolite is the major pathway of letrozole clearance. Letrozole's terminal elimination half-life is about 2 days and steady-state plasma concentration after daily 2.5 mg dosing is reached in 2- 6 weeks. "

Bear in mind the daily dosage is not for us but for women with breast cancer.

So i can use it EOD starting @ 1.25mg and up it if necessary.....question is should i ever use it ED?

I really don't know that much about dosing as far as bb'ers go, but I'm going to be using it instead of Arimidex on my next cycle. Because of it's half life, I am going with 2.5 mg. EOD, as I would go with 1 mg of arimidex EOD, although some believe it should be evry day. Your decision. CYCLEON and IRON GAME discuss this in this thread:EDUCATIONAL THREAD

landshark nice info... i just started taking my letro because my cycle is almost finished... i havent heard of anyone actually discussing how they liked using letrozole, so if anyone has had experience with it post it up please.
