I have an 80 gal tank that i'll be setting up again soon. I had a bad incident with cleaning it before and killing about 50 expensive fish and never set it back up again. I think I'm going to make the investment to turn it into salt water when I do set it up again.

What happened? that had to of sucked, you do get close to the fish (not close like a dog, but still I feel weird when a fish dies) I haven't tried saltwater yet, but want to try it in the near future.

Not so much the fish, but I was pretty damn close to that money invested in them. I'm guessing there was $500-800 invested in a lot of rare tropical fish.
I forget what I did exactly. I think I cleaned the filter with tap water instead of cleaning it in the water the was already treated from the tank...something along the lines of that if it makes sense. It was just a dumb mistake because I was in a hurry. I had cleaned that tank many times before that.
I just remember going out to dinner for my moms birthday and having her and a bunch of family members and her friends come back to my place afterwards and we came home to an aquarium of fish floating everywhere.

ehhh Ill get a pig farm then, hey u know what they say....

And when you got your six pieces, you gotta get rid of them, because it's no good leaving it in the deep freeze for your mum to discover, now is it? Then I hear the best thing to do is feed them to pigs. You got to starve the pigs for a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead. You gotta shave the heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the piggies' digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course, but you don't want to go sievin' through pig shit, now do you? They will go through bone like butter. You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, "as greedy as a pig".
