Ok guys, New here. Imput on physique please.

Alright dudes, My names Bill, I started working out hard about a year and a half ago. At 19 Years old I was 6'2 157-160, smaller than I was sophmore year of High School. I thought to myself, I had potential years ago its time to hit the gym. I did freeweights for a couple months, then went home from school (where I have a weight room, my dads 60 but still a damn beast). Hit the weights HARD, by the end of the summer I put was 6'2 173, and benchin a little over 200. I started looking into juicing, got some D-bols, which I don't know if they were legit, just made me tired as hell, I took them for a week and threw them out, personal issue put me into depression, I stopped working out for atleast 6 months. Lost almost all my gains weighing in at about 165 again, I motivated myself to get back to lifting without any steroid, over the past summer I worked my ass off, swimming, lifting, by the end of the summer I was 185 and benching 240. Now i went back to school, no more weight room in the house, just a 4 cornered room, and didnt use a bench press for 2 months, I took a trip back home and my bench press was PATHETIC! what I used to rep 9 times I could barely rep 4!!(is that natural). Despite being a little bigger than I was when I left. So Neway, I stole my dads 45 lbs dumbells brought them back up, got some Vitamins called the Diet Source, and now I am 6'3.5 192 at 7.5% bf. Im still not satisfied though, I need more mass. Everytime I get some mass I hit a wall, no matter how much I eat I dont gain, I think this might be the last wall of muscle for me. And I do not want to get fat. Ne way heres the pics, feedback and advice is much appreciated. The first 2 are from 3 months ago at 180 and the last 2 are from 1 month ago at 185 around. Im slightly bigger now, but dont have pics.

Congratulations on your progress. The reasons why you often seem to be starting and then stopping your weight training aren't important, but your consistency is a concern. If you want to make gains, then you'll need to be a lot more disciplined. You're in your early 20's now, right? With a solid diet and consistency in the weight room, you'll continue to grow - just be patient and keep at it. I say this because I get the impression that you're looking for quick gains. Not to discourage you, but it's going to take a few years and then some - even if you use AAS (which you're too young to be using anyway). Finally, look at my avatar. That's 8% bodyfat at 6' and 193 lbs. Now compare with your pics. Are you sure you're at 7.5%? Better get those calipers adjusted. Anyhow, good luck and I hope you will seriously consider my advice.

Looks like your making good progress with just those 45 lbs dumbells. Imagine what you could do with a whole gym! Doesn't your college have one you can use? If they don't check out your local gym, you could get a student discount.

well, i was a student, now i work full time in the college area. I still have my student Id so I can get into the gym, I dont know I prefer working out by myself, I feel that a gym slows me down, waiting for the right machines and all. people talking to you and all that social stuff, im not there for a tea party . I workout 5 times a week, sometimes 4, for 35 minutes, with the same playlist playing lol (rocky songs). I dont concentrate on a certain muscle, I switch it up, Well, I just started alternating between concertrating on bi's/tri's shoulders one day then chest back delts the next. However I always get in 100 elevated pushups and 100 crunches. and I never work my legs, my legs have always been pretty huge, even at 6'1 155 I always got comments about the hugeness of my calves

Also here are my goals for end of January:
    Weight- 200 BF under 10
    Bench Press- 280
I also want to be able to curl 50 lbs dumbells for 8 reps

Looks like you have made some good progress, but I think your bodyfat estimation may be just a bit low.

i measured myself with an acu-measure caliper, numerous times.

Time for a new caliper, 'cause if you're 7.5% bodyfat then I'm 2%.

I can't see shit from the 2 after pictures. Get a new camera, it's horrible.

Your problem lies in your diet. At 6'3 1/2'' being under 200lbs no matter what bodyfat is extremely skinny. Fix your diet, because thats the main thing holding you back from gaining size.

  13. #13
Extremely skinny because im under 200 lbs, only a meathead would say something like, the target weight range for a 21 year old male 6'3 with a medium frame is 170-183 pounds, according to that im overweight.

Ok your huge my bad. Are you wanting to be anorexic your entire life? I thought you joined this site to learn ways to gain muscle, not compare your size to the target weight range of holocost victimes back in world war 2.

Huge comments? From who? Midgets and anorexics?

If you rely on target weight ranges to determine if you're overweight or not, then you're the meathead. If I followed those stupid ranges, then I'd be considered obese. You obviously don't have a clue and I'm calling on your bf% estimation. Looks more like 13-15%, but with your crappy pictures it's hard to tell.
